DCPro Privacy Policy
Effective Date: September 11, 2026
DCPro, LLC (“DCPro” “we,” “us,” or “our”) values the privacy of users of our website, thedcpro.com (the “Site”), and the services, including the paid subscriptions to our Platform (“Subscription”) offered through the Site (collectively, the “Services”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and process information about users of the Services (“users,” “you,” or “your”). By visiting the Site or using the Services, you acknowledge and agree to this Privacy Policy. Your use of the Site and Services is also subject to our Terms of Use (insert hyperlink) and any additional agreements you enter into with us. The bolded capitalized terms have the same meaning as the terms in our Terms of Use.
1. Who Is Responsible for Your Information
We are the controller of the personal information described in this Policy. Our contact details are in Section 17. Our education Platform runs on LearnWorlds, our third-party service provider, and payments run through Stripe, our third-party payment processor. Both process information on our behalf or as otherwise described in Section 6.
2. Purpose
This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, disclose, and otherwise process personal information about individuals who visit the Site or purchase products or services through it. Except as otherwise stated in this Privacy Policy, it does not apply to information processed by third-party websites, applications, or services that we do not own or control.

We receive only a token, the card brand, the last four digits, the expiration date, and the result of the transaction. Stripe handles this information as an independent controller under its own privacy policy, which you can read at stripe.com/privacy. We recommend you do.
4.1.2 Information About Other People
If you post a photo of a customer’s property, name an employee, or give us someone else’s contact details, you’re responsible for having the right to do that. Don’t give us other people’s personal information unless you’re allowed to share it.
4.2 Information We Collect Automatically

With your consent, when you view videos through the Services, our third-party service provider, LearnWorlds, provided information and forwards it to us about your video viewing activity, including the specific videos you watch, the duration of your viewing sessions, and related engagement data such as pause, rewind, and playback settings. We collect this information to: (a) improve our content, analyze user preferences, enhance the functionality of our video player, track progress on fulfilling certificate requirements, show you where you stopped viewing the content, and provide you with a personalized viewing experience; and (b) enforce your Subscription to ensure that Accounts are not shared and Materials are not downloaded in bulk as described in our Terms of Use.

4.2.2 Cookies and Similar Technologies
We and our third-party partners may collect information using cookies, pixel tags, or similar technologies. Cookies are small text files containing a string of alphanumeric characters. We use both session cookies, which disappear when you close your browser, and persistent cookies, which remain after you close your browser and may be used on subsequent visits to our Site and use of our Platform.
We use a cookie consent banner to obtain your permission before activating non-Necessary cookies and tracking technologies. The cookie consent banner describes the categories of cookies used and a description of such cookies which is also described below:
| Type | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Necessary | Necessary cookies are sometimes called “strictly necessary” as without them we cannot provide the functionality that you need to use our website or access the Platform. For example, essential cookies help remember your preferences as you navigate through the Site or Platform. |
| Functional | Functional cookies enable our website and Platform to provide enhanced functionality and personalization, by remembering information you have entered and choices you make. These preferences are remembered through the use of persistent cookies, so that you will not have to set them again the next time you visit the website or access the Platform. |
| Analytics | Analytics cookies track information about visits to our website and use of the Platform so that we can measure and improve their performance, as well as optimize the website’s and Platform’s content. These cookies help us analyze user behavior by tracking the number of visits, how visitors and Subscriber’s use the website and Platform, which website or webpage they come from and how long they are staying on the website or using the Platform. |
| Marketing | Marketing cookies are used to deliver advertising material relevant to you and your interests. They are also used t limit the number of times you see an advertisement resulting in more targeted advertising, as well as help us measure the effectiveness of our advertising campaigns. These cookies are usually placed by advertising networks we collaborate with, with our permission. |
However, if you voluntarily provide your email address or phone number through our signup forms, that information will be shared with our email provider to deliver the marketing communications you requested, regardless of your cookie preferences.
4.2.4 Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control
Browsers send “Do Not Track” signals inconsistently and there is no agreed standard for responding to them, so we don’t respond to DNT signals. We do honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal where the law requires us to treat it as an opt-out of sale or sharing of personal information.
5. How We Use Your Information
We use personal information to:
- Create and manage your Account and verify who you are.
- Deliver the Platform to you, track your progress on your Certificate of Completion and issue you Certificate of Completion.
- Process payments, manage your Subscription, handle renewals and refunds, and prevent payment fraud.
- Operate the Member Community, moderate Member Content, and enforce our Community Rules.
- Provide customer support and respond to what you send us.
- Send service messages about your Account, billing, security, and changes to the Platform.
- Send marketing about the Platform and the content contained therein, including education, new courses, live training, and events — where you’ve consented or where we’re otherwise permitted, and always with an unsubscribe link.
- Improve the Platform, develop new education and content, and understand which content works.
- Detect, investigate, and prevent credential sharing, content piracy, fraud, abuse, and security incidents.
- Enforce our Terms of Use, and establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.
- Comply with law, tax and accounting obligations, and lawful requests from authorities.
5.1 Automated Decisions
We use automated systems to flag possible credential sharing, piracy, fraud, and community rule violations. These systems flag Accounts for review; they don’t make final decisions about you on their own. A person reviews any flag before we suspend or terminate an Account, and if we act against your Account you can contest it by writing to us.
5.2 Aggregated and De-identified Information
We may create aggregated or de-identified information — for example, “62% of members finish the surface prep series” — and use it for any purpose, including publishing it. We won’t try to re-identify it, and we’ll keep it de-identified.
6. Who We Share Information With
We do not sell your personal information. We share it in the following situations, and no others.
6.1 Service Providers
| Provider Category | What They Do and What They Get |
|---|---|
| Learning platform | LearnWorlds hosts the Platform and stores your Account, course, and community data. LearnWorlds runs on Google Cloud infrastructure, including data centers in the United States. |
| Payments | Stripe processes payments, stores your card details, handles renewals and refunds, and performs fraud screening. Stripe is an independent controller for the payment data it collects. |
| Email and messaging | Our providers that send transactional email, support replies, and marketing email get your name, email address, and other information and use such information to fulfill our requests. |
| Analytics | Our providers that help us understand the Site and Platform usage receive usage and device data, generally in pseudonymous. Google Analytics is one of such providers. |
| Video delivery | Our hosting and content delivery network providers that stream video and receive technical and connection data needed to deliver it. |
| Support tools | Our Helpdesk and live chat providers receive your contact details and the contents of your messages. |
| Professional advisors | Our Lawyers, accountants, auditors, and insurers receive information where needed for their work. |
| Product Manufacturers and Sponsoring Product Manufacturers | If you elect to receive marketing and other communications from our sponsors, we will provide our sponsors with your name and email address. We may share aggregated anonymized information with our sponsors without your consent. |
Service providers are contractually required to use personal information only to provide services to us, to keep it secure, and not to use it for their own purposes. A current list of our processors is available on request at support@thedcpro.com.
6.2 Other Members
Anything you post in the Community — your member name, profile photo, posts, comments, and shared work — is visible to other members. Some community areas may be publicly visible outside the Platform; where that’s the case we’ll tell you before you post. Treat Community posts as public and don’t post anything there you wouldn’t want shared.
6.3 Business Transfers
If DCPro is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, bankruptcy, or sale of all or part of its business, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We’ll notify you and the receiving party will remain bound by this Policy or give you notice before materially changing it.
6.4 Legal and Safety
We may disclose information where we reasonably believe it’s necessary to comply with a law, regulation, subpoena, court order, or lawful government request to: enforce our agreements; protect the rights, property, or safety of DCPro, our members, or the public; or to investigate fraud, piracy, or a security incident.
6.5 With Your Direction
We share information with anyone else only when you ask us to or agree to it — for example, if you ask us to introduce you to a manufacturer or supplier, agree to appear in a case study or consent to receive marketing materials from our sponsors, manufacturers or suppliers.
7. International Data Transfers
DCPro is based in the United States, and we may collect, transfer, store, disclose and otherwise process personal information in the United States and in other countries where we, our affiliates, services providers and business partners operate, including the United States, European Union, Australia, U.K., Switzerland and Canada. Our providers, including LearnWorlds’ Google Cloud infrastructure and Stripe, store and process data in the United States and in other countries to allow us to provide the Services to you and to collect and use such information in furtherance of our business as permitted under this Policy, our Terms of Use and other applicable privacy laws. If you’re outside the United States, using our accessing the Site or Platform means your information will be transferred to and processed in countries whose data protection laws may differ from your own and your personal information may be subject to access by courts, law enforcement authorities, regulators or national security authorities in those jurisdictions.
Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers of personal information, which may include,: (a) the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses, and the UK International Data Transfer Addendum where the transfer originates in the UK; (b) an adequacy decision covering the receiving country, where one applies; (c) Certification of the receiving party under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, the UK Extension, or the Swiss-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, where applicable; or (d) your explicit consent, or another derogation permitted by law, in the limited cases where no other mechanism is available.
You can request a copy of the safeguards we rely on by requesting such information through the Contact Us section below.
8. How Long We Keep Information
We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purposes described in this Policy, or as long as the law requires.
| Information | Retention |
|---|---|
| Account and profile | For as long as your Account is active, then up to 24 months after closure, so you can reactivate and so we can handle disputes. |
| Payment and transaction records | Seven years from the transaction, to meet U.S. tax and accounting requirements. This period is set by law, not by us. |
| Course progress and certificates | For as long as your Account is active, then up to seven years, so we can verify a certificate if someone asks you to prove it. |
| Community Content | Until you delete it or your Account closes. Posts may remain visible where other members have quoted them, and copies stay in backups for a limited period. |
| Support communications | Three years from the last contact. |
| Usage and analytics logs | Generally 24 months, in aggregated or pseudonymized form after 12 months. |
| Enforcement records | Where we terminate an Account for piracy, credential sharing, or abuse, we keep a minimal record indefinitely so a banned member can't simply re-register. |
| Marketing preferences | Indefinitely, so we can honor an unsubscribe. |
When a retention period ends we delete the information or irreversibly anonymize it. Backups are overwritten on a rolling cycle, so deleted information may persist in backup for a short period after it disappears from the live Platform.
9. Security
We take reasonable and appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect personal information, including encryption of data in transit and at rest, access controls limiting staff access to what their job requires, multi-factor authentication on administrative accounts, regular software updates, and vetting of the providers we use.
But no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we can’t guarantee absolute security. You play a part too: use a strong, unique password, don’t reuse it elsewhere, don’t share your login, and tell us at support@thedcpro.com right away if you think your Account has been compromised.
If a data breach occurs that is likely to result in a risk to your rights, we’ll notify you and the relevant regulators within the timeframes the law requires.
10. Children
The Platform is for adults working in the trades. It is not directed at children, and you must be at least 18 to hold an Account. We don’t knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If we learn that we’ve collected information from someone under 18, we’ll delete it and close the Account. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us at support@thedcpro.com.
11. Your Rights — EEA, UK, and Switzerland
This section applies if you’re in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland. DCPro, LLC is the controller of your personal data. Our providers, such as Learnworlds and Stipe, may collect your personal information associated with your Subscription and use of our Platform.

11.3 Automated Decision-Making
We don’t make decisions producing legal or similarly significant effects about you based solely on automated processing.
